Teaching and Learning lie at the heart of the school. Kitebrook aims to develop children and young people physically, intellectually, socially, spiritually and morally so that they are able, to the maximum extent possible, benefit from society and contribute to it.
At Kitebrook we believe in providing a consistent, child-centred learning environment where all children, of all abilities, achieve their full potential and leave as confident, well-rounded individuals prepared for their next school. We maintain that learning should be consistent, inspiring and challenging, combined with high expectations. Through our teaching we ensure all children have access to the curriculum and gain self-confidence by being motivated to learn. We believe that appropriate teaching and learning experiences help children to become well-rounded, confident learners and that it is important that each child’s learning is treated individually.
