Education

We see education as something personal and spiritual, as well as academic. Creativity in art, craft, music and drama is an intrinsic part of the whole, while a range of sports also features prominently.

Most boys move on to preparatory schools in the area; most girls go via the Common Entrance and other examinations to one of the many independent senior schools within a 50-mile radius. Exam and entry results are consistently good, with excellent feedback about our children from 'next schools'. Children with the necessary ability are encouraged - without stress - to aim for scholarships.
