Admission to Kitebrook
We feel that an initial discussion, followed by a visit, is the very best way to establish a long and happy relationship between a family and a school. Pippa Quarrell, Kitebrook's Head, deals with all admissions personally.
Kitebrook is always open to visitors. Seeing the children and teachers in action during the term time is the best way to gain a feel for the school. So, the first thing to do is speak to Hannah Webster, our school secretary, and she will arrange your appointment (01608 674350).
During your visit you will have plenty of time to discuss your child (or children) with Ms Quarrell. You will take a tour around the school (and pre-Prep if your child might join us before the end of Yr 2). You will visit our children and teachers in classes and be able to ask them any questions you might have.
We are not a selective school – our admissions policy (available in full below) is an inclusive one – and we welcome children with a wide range of abilities and talents. So, as there is no admissions test, we seek to establish through conversations with parents (and on occasion, previous schools) the level at which your child is currently working, and what particular help (if necessary) they might need to receive, in order to help them reach their potential.
Should you decide to accept a place at Kitebrook for your child then we are always keen that they join us for a ‘taster day’ the term before they join us, so that they gain an impression of the school and meet their future classmates and teacher. Again, this is best arranged through a conversation with Hannah Webster, in our office.
Registration
Registration is the process by which you secure a place for your child at the school. Your registration secures our commitment to offer your child a place, if it emerges. This is a £50 non-refundable charge. A Registration Form is available at the bottom of this page.

Deposit
If you then want to take up that place, you secure it by completing an Acceptance Form (and reading the Terms & Conditions attached to it), and sending us a cheque for £400. This is refundable, upon the eventual departure of your child. Acceptance Form and Terms & Conditions available at the bottom of this page.
