From the Head . . .
All that is best about the Summer Term in a rural school was fully illustrated recently by our idyllic Sports Day. It was a great success, enjoyed by boys, girls, staff and parents alike. It was even warm enough for strawberries and cream on the terrace.
Kitebrook is a family-run rural pre-Prep and Preparatory school where our aim is to look at each child’s needs and each child’s potential. We hope to provide a secure and loving - yet challenging - background in which your child can thrive and develop. We are open to day pupils aged 3 to 13 and to flexible weekly boarders from 8 upwards. From September 2009 we will be taking boys as well as girls in the main Prep School. All this year's Common Entrance candidates have gained places - or scholarships even - at their chosen senior schools.
This website (which we are currently updating) will give you an idea of the principles behind the school, founded over 50 years ago by Anne McDermott. It will also show you a slice of what's going on at the moment. But why not contact me and come and see it all for yourself . . .
