Charity fundraising is not just about raising money for good causes; it can make a real difference for our children too.
It brings the children together to create a positive and productive atmosphere, and as a school that prides itself not only on academic success, the resulting ethos in collaboration and empathy aids our community spirit.
We actively encourage the children to get involved in fundraising activities, both locally and internationally, and through this the children grow in confidence to come forward with their own ideas, seeing them through to fruition with determination, planning, negotiation, hard work and risk taking; all part of our growth mindset. The children in turn experience success and real pride in the difference they make to others. Kitebrook has committed itself until 2023 to raise funds for IBBA Girls School in South Sudan, with pupils getting involved in ensuring each of the girls have somewhere to sleep in their new boarding house.
