Honours

Our wonderful facilities, resources and extensive grounds encourage the children to explore, problem-solve, build, create, collaborate and communicate. By the time they leave us at the end of Upper School and go on to the next stage of their education, they have developed essential skills for the future. We are tremendously proud of the outstanding academic achievements of our children; it is why we continue to receive offers to the most highly acclaimed senior schools in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and beyond. We have been particularly successful in recent years with Sports, Art and Academic Scholarships being offered to the children at the top of our school.

Sport plays a big part of every child’s time at Kitebrook. Children have many opportunities to represent the school in a variety of sports across the year, which develops their understanding of competitive sport. Although all of our teams play to win, we do emphasise that participation is the most important aspect of playing. In 2018, five girls were chosen to play at the Warwickshire Hockey Development Centre which is a pathway into representing the county and England. We also have children who represent the county in tennis, swimming and netball.

We believe that there is more to education than just academic excellence and we encourage children to develop in additional ways. The school leadership programme gives children the opportunity to take on a leadership role, collaborate, make decisions and develop independence, confidence and self-esteem.
