Leadership

All pupils in Upper School at Kitebrook have opportunities of leadership such as giving school tours on our Open Mornings, assisting with younger year groups or taking monitoring duties. Pupils in the top years of our school demonstrate outstanding perseverance and focus, making them superb role models and perfectly suited to participating in our Pupil Leadership Team. Our pupils relish the opportunity to do so and are excited to use their initiative and communicate their ideas with pupils and staff alike.

During their time here pupils have been encouraged to take more responsibility, risk take, show empathy, and become well rounded, independent children.

As they embark on their final years at Kitebrook it is important that we offer them more opportunities to develop even further, helping prepare them for life at their next school and beyond.

All of the roles on offer to pupils are important to the collaboration and success of our school and allow pupils to be actively involved in having a voice for the other pupils at Kitebrook. Their opinions are greatly valued and we encourage them to think deeply about how they can help to make their school even more amazing than it is now. The roles currently available to our senior pupils consist of Head of School, Prefect, Group Leader, Deputy Group Leader, School Council Representative, Senior Chorister, Sports Captain and Buddy and Conduct Checker. Pupils wishing to be considered are asked to write a formal letter of application and are invited to interview before appointments are carefully made each academic year.
